President and owner David Werner is an ambitious young man with a dream to bring quality cooking and kitchen products to the multi cultural city of Vancouver. His fifteen years of retail experience with successful retailer, IKEA and many years as a retail owner, exposed him to a world of opportunities. Inspired by the European culture and the North American retail savvy, he has set out to create a better lifestyle by providing unique, quality products, purchased from around the world. Our Guarantee
When you purchase from Cookworks you can be assured you are getting the best quality products, which is why we offer a 5 year warranty from date of purchase. Many of our cookware, knife, and pepper mills carry a lifetime warranty.
Our 5 year warranty covers any defects or problems caused by the manufacturer’s production of the product. It does not include damage caused by misuse, excessive heat, dishwasher, or any other condition not adhered to in the product care and use manuals.
In order to qualify for our 5-year warranty, you must have your original sales receipt. We will make every effort to repair the product. If it is beyond repair, we will replace the item with the same item or its equivalent replacement. Some items may require the item to be shipped back to the manufacturer for evaluation.
Our 5 year warranty applies to items that were purchased on or after June 1, 2007.

Industry Discounts Cookworks offers exclusive discounts and offers to members of the culinary industry and interior designers.
You can receive a 15% discount if you are: - a chef or work in the industry
- a student in a culinary program
- or an interior designer
If you are a member of the BC Chef's Association you are eligible for a 20% discount.
Please note: Our customers with an industry discount are not eligible to collect points and the discount applies to regularly priced merchandise only.
To receive your discount, we require that you present either a business card, student ID with timetable, or pay stub indicating your eligibility. If you are a member of the BC Chef's Association, please present your up-to-date membership.
